Went for lunch with Octav from Paxum...
For him it must have seemed like he was on a date with someone who had just gotten out of long term relationship that ended because of cheating and has lost all trust.
Seems like a nice enough guy for whatever that's worth. Let me know know about his history both personal and business, about some of the backers of Paxum, one happens to be a lawyer who I'm hoping to meet in the next week or so. You can never tell the future but it seems like they have been working on setting this up for a few years, jumping through all the MasterCard hoops and making sure everything was being set up correctly to become an e-wallet payment solution. He did say that they had planned to launch later in the year but sped things up on the tech end because of the epass situation, but they are able to issue cards now. I doubt any of these billing companies were set up with the master plan of screwing people over, so with any e-wallet solution don't use them as a bank and keep too much money in there. He did mention that when your money is on your virtual MasterCard that it is MasterCard holding the fund not them. I was given a test card with some pre-loaded cash and it worked in restaurants and the atm with no issue. I plan to use Paxum to pay affiliates who are interested and as I did with epass I will be cautious and only wire in the $ needed, which is why I was lucky and didn't lose too much. Not sure if this helps anyone thinking about using them, but I thought I'd share. |
any traces of Howie or Norton??? ;)
|
Good stuff...
|
Thanks Kenny B!
|
i don't think master card holds the funds it's always a bank that handles that.
|
thanks for the update
|
good information Kenny B, we are taking a very serious look at Paxum as one of our new payment options. So far I have to say I am liking what I see with them. Nice to know someone actually met with them face to face

Thanks for "Review"

Was lunch at the UPS store, Tim Hortons or similar arrangement?
Or did you actually go to their office? Just asking to clarify :) |
It seems Paxum are the most active at the moment in thier attempt to capture market share and become a new recognised payment provider...good luck.
|
How can I get one of these bro cards? To test and see if it works ya know.
|
The guy Octav M. used to run some pay per click sites, I used them about 10 years with programs like exitmoney.com
As far as I can remember he always paid, but it was more in the dialer age. So I think he resold his traffic to dialer programs |
No sign of Norton Burah or Howard Cohen, from what I heard Norton is back in processing but I don't know with who, and Howard has beeb running a bar or restaurant since his wife gave him the boot. But who knows for sure.
I have not visited their offices, I'm hoping to meet with one of the partners who happens to be a lawyer at his office in the next week or so. I'll let you guys know if and when that meeting takes place. |
Where is their office?

Can you share the name of the owners? Did you get a physical address of him, other locations where the company operates from? So they weren't ready to launch but sped things up to take advantage of the epass situation? I just read in another thread they don't even have mastercard approval to be listed on their site yet? |

Have you gone off on Payoneer, CashX, OkPay etc. etc. etc. with the same animosity you have with Paxum? |

I did not get a physical address... yes I asked he did not want people popping in. They have mastercard approval, I have a card and tested it, I think they are waiting for mastercard to approve text or something else on their site. I don't trust them any more or less than anyone else who handles money for adult webmasters, so I'll be as cautious as I can and I suggest everyone do the same. Octav was clear that they have not and will not deal with anything gambling related, in any country. |

I had the buffalo chicken strips, deep fried and delicious with extra ranch for dipping of course. I can be trusted so this is a good meal to order, plus it's hot and makes you sweat regardless of the temperature in the restaurant, this way you won't seem like a nervous liar sweating, just a fat man eating spicy food. He had a burger which leads me to believe he is a scammer as Chris Mallack enjoyed burgers and Howard Cohen is a fat fuck so must eat a lot of burgers. |
Thanks for the info

I want to handle millions of dollars of people's money but I don't want anyone to come into our office (or know where we are located) or know the name of the "owners"... red flags ??? |
Will you are 100% accurate in what you are saying. Worst part is anyone who enters the game and can move money for people will get business, sad fact.
|
receive money => withdraw
receive money => withdraw receive money => withdraw receive money => withdraw receive money => withdraw receive money => withdraw you get the idea... |

Let's hope none of those characters are involved in this new venture. |

We all know it, it's just how long it will take for that to happen and if you don't keep large sums in there you minimize the risk. Webmasters need a solution like this and it fits the bill. I don't think anyone believes they went through the process of creating this company with the intention to screw people but all it takes is one person to use them fraudulently in some way and they get their funds frozen like in the webmaster checks issue. |
Funds2Go made a huge mistake. One of their first affiliate programs pushed child models. Girls ranging from 6 to 13yrs old. Just as soon as they started the accounts were locked by the DOJ and I bet they didn't tell anybody why they got locked.
