No.......

Yes, this plays a very heavy role in SEO.

Also if you have facebook integrated/linked anywhere on your site your domain will get blacklisted.

Some people were saying Google doesn't like Your site if Google sees Your site indexed by Bing, it was sometime ago, there was even a thread here about it.

i might be wrong though :helpme:error

charlie g 10-04-2010 09:27 AM

Yes, if bing indexes you you're finished on google!

Stephen 10-04-2010 09:29 AM

Do you want quality or quantity? you might find that Bing (substantially) out-converts Google and the question may be, should you disallow Google?

Look at your stats closely before answering.

Of course, such a penalty is unlikely (and likely illegal in the U.S.) :2 cents:

He's joking... Leave it alone... Google is not going to penalize you if you're in Bing...

All Rumors, Bing has very specific things they are looking for and very slow to index if the proper optimization and off-site SEO is not being done.

Someone above mentioned that Bing can bring some high quality traffic, and that is very true. We have invested countless hours into bing using various SEO methods since their launch and we have a very solid grasp on how bings works and what they are looking for so if i had to give you all a suggestion based on all the research we have done, it would be as follows:

Bing - Major keywords tend to get "O.K." amounts of traffic giving the results that generate differ from google, it's exciting to see new sites and check them out but when "Niche Specific" searches are made on bing, top placements can see conversions as low as 1:25 or better. In some cases, we have #1 spots that only do 30 uniques a month but we get 2-3 sales on avg. When you optimize and work towards getting 10 or 15 of these top 3 positions for niched searches, the sales add up quickly. No, you not going to go from 1,000,000 alexa to 100 alexa, but you are going to make money if your site provides what the surfers are looking for.

Examples of a search terms that will do well on bing is:

"homemade webcam blowjobs"
"real girlfriends flashing tits"

If Google Spiders see a Bing spider on your site, you're in big fucking trouble. But if they come to your sites on different times it's no problem.

2intense 10-04-2010 10:06 AM

disallow both :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Monique Niccole 10-04-2010 12:01 PM

This thread is full of lol'z :1orglaugh

Bing is my side bitch, she produces but does require much attention.

This. I've seen this happen, I've actually sat here and watched them fight it out.

You just caught them when they were in a bad mood. When I saw them both on my site they were making out then had sex. I believe they got pregnant and will name the new spider baby Blingle or may Gling. ;)

They are like Siamese Fighting Fish.

tiger 10-04-2010 02:58 PM

To play it safe you should ban them both.

Relentless 10-04-2010 03:10 PM

What's really important is what your site thinks of them, not what they think of your site. Your site is the boss, not theirs... don't let them ever forget that!
