WTF Happened to ARS - SMUT BLOGS - HD PAYS??
 

Is their shit just completely in the crapper now?
I saw a previous post about hd pays but now their related smut blogs interface is screwed, and that was a good blog system.

In the first place how do you let a PRIMO domain like smut.com just sit their doing nothing?

I am constantly amazed how people take things which work and let them go to shit....

yes nice design but it loaded VERY SLOWLY on this end, and of course the blogs no longer load at all...sucks

You know shit is bad when ARS just lets things go and they don't bother to tell anyone.

Marc sold ARS to his sister Becky many years ago.

.smut blogs I had were always in great positions in google, but those blogs loaded so slow that I was unable to work on those blogs.. lot of money lost for me and for them.. I don't know who idiot is responsible for that.

Is the rewards store still open? I have some points I think.

I always did good with Smut Cams, was a bit irritated when PPS dropped from 75 to 55 but still kept pushing them. Doing 1-3k/month then all the sudden I get an email accusing me of fraud.

I promote 250+ sponsors and NEVER before have I been accused of fraud. I work with organic traffic not fraudulent traffic. Anyway I laid out for them how I promote and was told to continue, then next thing I know I am told that they are deactivating the tracking id that has the most sales due to fraud.

I worked with Becky during this ordeal who seemed to be very helpful. BUT apparently it was not up to her, it was up to Naked.com (whom they whitelabel with).

Anyway the final result is that I now make maybe $110/month with Smut Cams while I still send the same traffic I always have. Up until I was accused of fraud it was earning me 1-3k/month. This was only 2-3 months ago so I can hardly see it being a result of anything else.

Anyone else had similar issues?

Why are you still sending the same traffic? That only encourages it. If my pays goes from $2000 to $100 they'll be lucky to get a single hit!

I spoke to B a few days ago and both her and her developer is working overtime to get a database issue resolved....
A few systems were affected, not just Smut.com but also a login issue for some webmasters through hdpays

She has a huge system and im sure we all know that sometimes when adding on or changing setups other parts of that system can be affected.

She is still here though, just swamped

Why would they mention it? they've executed their plan exactly how they wanted to. Let everybody build them up a ton of links and traffic, then drop them and soak it up for themselves. Perfect execution.

it does load slow, but it only seems they changed the splash page,
if you click the enter link on the bottom, you stilll get the niche directory of BYOT tours like it was set before, for example:

and for blogs login page was always here http://www.smut.com/blogs and not via smut.com index I think.. I remember it was easy to get smut.com blogs indexed and some PR quickly too, but they do load insanely slow

yep, fortunately i managed to login briefly a few weeks ago and posted entries for each blog to the effect of "this blog is going to a new home, please click here blah blah...." so surfers had a heads up. That is if they managed to load a page to see the entry:disgust

People who werent in the industry back then have no idea how much damage that guy Marc De did to the industry. ARS and their aggressive billing tactics caused so many chargebacks and complaints, that the credit card industry negatively changed it's view of the adult industry forever.

No kidding? ARS really seems to be going downhill. I went from 3k+ per month to being lucky if I get a check in a month from them.

I cashed mine out a few years ago. You maybe to late now.
