October 7th confirmed dates for VV funds

Quote:

October 7th, 2010 is the confirmed date that the majority of cardholders will be able to access the funds on their Visa Card using their existing virtual card and/or physical card(s), without providing SKNANB further information. A small percentage of cardholders will be required to provide certain confirming due diligence information. On or after October 7th, prepaid cardholders may attempt to use their cards to confirm that no additional due diligence information will be required. Alternatively, you may email us at [email protected], including the first and last name on the card and the last four digits of either the virtual or physical card and we will verify as soon as is possible as to whether or not you will need to provide additional due diligence information.

SKNANB has received questions with respect to cash withdrawal limits. The daily limits for cash withdrawals will be US$320.00 (three hundred and twenty) per day. This limit cannot be modified. SKNANB prepaid cardholders should continue to check this site for further updates.

Yeah, but I assume that is for Visa cards that enable you to withdraw cash from an ATM, VV will require a wire or check to get funds.

LatinCams 10-05-2010 01:56 PM

Cool it would only take me 47 Days to withdraw all my money :)

Just buy your groceries individually with the VV card and get cash back. =)

VV holders don't have a card but worth trying for those that have physical cards.

These are also the mystery numbers in the TV series LOST

tammix 10-05-2010 02:47 PM

good luck everyone

RaiderCash_Dominik 10-05-2010 02:50 PM

$320 per day? Mother fuckers.

wyldblyss 10-05-2010 03:03 PM

One problem is going to be keeping track of your balance, especially for non U.S. people. With exchange rates, you never know what it is going to be and then there are the unknown withdrawal fees.

DavieVegas 10-05-2010 03:08 PM

I hope they will allow wires..

zeuse 10-05-2010 03:11 PM

The $320 daily limits for the physical card have nothing to do with the virtual visa limits, two totally different things.

I don't think they allow 1 cent withdrawls from ATMs :thumbsup

MaDalton 10-05-2010 04:32 PM

so the guy with the $250k will be going to the ATM for the next 781 days ;)

kektex 10-05-2010 05:26 PM

Will we be able to buy stuff online like from amazon? I kept most of my money on the wallet, but still lost like $120 on the VV. I might just buy a $120 Amazon gift card with it.

yeah, it sounds like the online-only virtual number should work too

Vjo 10-05-2010 06:21 PM

I checked and it's not working yet. Soon as someone makes a ATM cash withdrawl, let us know.

About 27 more hours St Kitts time. :) (Eastern Daylight Time)

I might drive in to a machine just after midnight. hehe

Beautiful St Kitts in the Caribbean

http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...-and-nevis.jpg

Breadfruit tress line the roads as a warm breeze lazily sweeps the pavement. Converted plantations are everywhere - no longer housing sugarcane but visitors to St. Kitts island.

And though St. Kitts and Nevis are forever interlocked as sister countries, both remnants of British colonies, each island has different ways of getting by.

Though one thing they both have in common is: how well your day went is generally directly related to how many hours you spent in a hammock. And while relaxation is the norm along the beaches of the Caribbean, it is taken to new levels in St Kitts and Nevis.

Barry-xlovecam 10-05-2010 06:24 PM

The "Fat Lady" has sung and the ePassporte soap opera is over ? I hope.

In retrospect, should this news be true and correct; if our actual financial losses are limited to less than 10% ? that is better than was expected two weeks ago at least.

MrBottomTooth 10-05-2010 06:25 PM

Too bad my card expired on September 30 and I never received a new one, even though they charged me the $35 renewal on September 1.

adult-help 10-05-2010 06:26 PM

as someone said: who cares what the fees will be as long as we can take the money out...
