LINKSPUN for mainstream?

Is there a service similar to linkspun but for mainstream sites? (I know LS has a mainstream category, but I'd like to see more sites).. I'm looking for something free (and free of bugs), same as linkspun but focused on mainstream niches. There seem to be dozens if not hundreds (linkpartners, diary, market etc), but rather than registering and testing each one, I'm looking for a recommendation from you guys.. anyone? :)
(the reason is that I have a couple of mainstream sites that just sit there, and LS is a very easy/quick way to get some exchanges done, plus keeps track)

it's coming soon

Give me a week or two, I will send out a notice in Linkspun to users there first to ask if they'd like to test for the mainstream version, will be simple and basically the same thing but geared only to mainstream.

Thats the biggest problem I have with my mainstream sites - getting links.

what are you doing? in mainstream have to think outside link exchanges. best thing to do is take a site ranking in a competitive mainstream niche and see where there links are coming from in yahoo site explorer. will give you an idea.

it's easier to get backlinks in mainstream than in adult.. way easier..

also easier to get more seo traffic in mainstream that in adult..

do you know any site in adult gettign cached instantly by google after each post? i don't know any..

but any normal mainstream site gets cached in less than 1 second..

.

I agree with what you said but I know of several that get cached and updated index's instantly.

If I post on 2 of my blogs and check their caches right after hitting submit, they are updated before I can even check.

You can thank a bunch of trust factor and Google XML Sitemaps for that :)

Well I am doing something wrong. I can start a porn blog and get good traffic from google straight away. I have quite a lot of older blogs now to link to the new ones from so I guess I can get a piggyback effect from my network now.

I'll give you an example. Started a new weight loss pills blog. Now 14 days old not one hit of traffic from the big G. I've got a few links to it from other weight loss sites (albeit PR0), a couple of non spammy blog comment links from relevant blog posts and a couple of relevant weight loss forum sigs. Google indexed it pretty quick and has it all cached but no traffic at all.

I've had similiar failings with a treadmill blog and a casino blog. It's starting to piss me off! I wonder sometimes if somehow Google has labeled me a porn webmaster and won't rank anything mainstream for me.

BTW: I do use seperate IPs for each and every blog too.

so where is this mainstream version?

Somewhat similarl: ibl builder. Downside is most of the potential partners have no PR.

I still have a few things being added to linkspun this week and once they're done I'll put some focus into it, above I said 'a week or two' not 7 days. :winkwink:

http://www.automaticbacklinks.com/ is not quite the same as linkspun but rather like, not unlike. Make sure to check it.

I think it will be a great success, however, it will need a great amount of moderation, Mainstream is a vicious world. I've found at least 50% of the link trade requests we get are from, webmasters that will go to any extent to defraud you and are always trying to beat the system.
I love linkspun and so far it seems that cheaters have no grounds when using your system.
Keep it up!!
