Are YOU going to let epass just take your money?

No response from any email they have provided and I can't think anything other than our money is GONE!

Sitting back and bitching online isn't going to shit. Do you think Mallick cares what a bunch of webmasters have to say... or anyone else at epass that was involved in the heist of our money?

Rather, I suggest we get a bunch of us to get together and show up on set (http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/991261-christopher-mallicks-movie-production-slated-2011-a.html) demanding to know answers to whats going on.

I had a friend (who is no longer a friend now) that I let borrow $1200 about two years ago. Came to me in almost tears that he lost his job and couldn't pay his rent and car payments. Made promises he would pay me back and gave me some of his stuff (PS3, games, etc) for collateral.

I let it go for about a month, then he got a job at a hotel. Let him have a few weeks then started asking for my $1200 back. He made every excuse why he could not pay me back and also had the nerve to ask for his PS3 back... Rather, I showed up at the hotel demanding him to pay me back right then. Brought 2 friends along and started telling hotel management he owed me money. They called the cops, they came and told me to leave. I showed up everyday he was working, even telling hotel guests that he wouldn't pay me back until he finally (after about 5 days) handed me a check and told me to "fuck off" :1orglaugh

I have no problem showing up demanding to know what happened to our money, ACH withdrawals and wire transfers that were promised. I don't give two shits if hes not the president of the company, but don't we deserve answers???

Just sayin... sitting back and complaining isnt going to get us anywhere :2 cents:

I'm 99% certain that the "upper heads" of epass, filed bankruptcy and took out the money. Its not FDIC insured so we have no recourse but to take it into our own hands.

All these banks that closed here in the US were FDIC insured. Even though you might of had $500 in the account when the bank shut down, that money goes into the banks operations costs and revenue, then the banks insurance company (backed by the FDIC) will pay you the money back.

Think of it this way... you have $100 in your pocket. $75 belongs to me and $75 belongs to your mom. You decide, "f this, im in the hole and no way out, im bailing" so you shut down shop. That $100 that is in your pocket, aka the "bank" is now existing revenues that you now have to use to cover costs, such as payroll, taxes, etc.

Both me and your mom are out $75, but now you have $100 to cover your costs of business. Now take that and add a few zero's and a few hundred people and thats what epass is doing to us.

Barefootsies 10-07-2010 11:14 AM

Yes I am.

I think I have around $50.00 left in there. However, even an hour of my time is worth much more than $50.00 of aggravation and dead ends trying internet stalking and harassment to a person or company that ultimately will not pay me anyway.

So they have have it, and roll up another stoagie on me.
:2 cents:

Other emails are:
[email protected]
[email protected]
You can also call his new "company" at: 310-546-1784

Another person you can try who is a partner of mallick is:
Giovanni Ribisi - He may be interested to know what his new partner (Stereo D) is up to.
You can call his agent, Mick Sullivan at 1 424 288 2000 as well as emailing his legal representative Stewart Brookman at: mailto:[email protected]
You should also email William Sherak, a producer and yet another partner of mallick at stereo d, best bet is to email Scott Whitehead of McKuin Frankel Whitehead at [email protected]

Remember, insults and threats emails won't work and could get you in trouble. A good email will inform these people of who they are associated with. If you have an Imdb Pro subscription, you can get agents, manager and legal representative for anyone who has worked or is currently working with mallick, I am sure a few of them would love to know what is going on...
Here are a few key search terms in Imdb that may be useful:
Stereo D [us] , Oxymoron Entertainment [us] , Abrams, Garfinkel, Margolis, Bergson [us] , 'New Mexico, USA' (A few nice emails to the film commissioner in New Mexico would do wonder, let's not forget CNN and Fox New, they would love to run a story on how public funds are being disbursed to fund a film produced by a "porn peddler" who is involved in a multi million dollars scandal.

Bank didn't declare bankruptcy and epass is NOT a bank.

Than STFU. Some people including me have xx,xxx in there including 5 ach transfers that ever came.

tigermtb 10-07-2010 12:43 PM

Write up the details and forward them to the NY Times.

Then see what happens to him, everyone else involved, and his future endeavors.

As a side note, anyone interested in taking legal action, feel free to contact me, or include me. I'm in for $xx,xxx and not overly interested in letting them get away with it.

to date: no response from any one of those emails, including wallet@epass

we need to get physical addresses to start mailing letters to, even a fax number and keep sending faxes all day long until we get a response.

HomerSimpson 10-07-2010 06:12 PM

I will let them take all $5.05 left in my wallet....

That is the best suggestion I've heard so far. Inform the press! Give them all the details about what Chris Malick was doing. Don't let him continue such scams in the future.
I have no stake in this, because I am in Germany. If you live in the US, prepare an article for the press. Go do it!

I lost $990 in the wallet, and I will consider it as a lesson.
