anyone has sent to the bank a notarized copy of your DL instead of passport? do they take this as ID?

This is what I used because I dont have a passporte, but I got it notarized. I told the lady that I didn't have a passporte and it would take weeks to get one, so she told me to do a drivers license and get it notarized. I sent everything on October 7 th.

Get yourself a passport! It is an extremely important document.

best option for you is i think to call the bank and find :)

Where does money come from ....
What it is the money intended for....

I sent in both and passsport noterized not drivers license but i sent in both just incase

Not sure where the original poster is from but it is very common for people in the USA to never own a passport their entire lives.
