Another please recommend a tube script thread!
 

I'm looking for a cheapish tube script that allows limited access to videos for un-signed up surfers, CCBill intergration and also the ability to show pictures.

It has the paysite feature you are looking for but im not sure about the ccbill intergration.
I havent used it.
Its only 150$ but you would be better off getting mechbunny.

Mechbunny n stp are way too expensive

I really like mechbunny. Video wise its the best but picture galleries are still not that great. STP is much better in that aspect.

For some reason designers charge an arm and a leg for STP designs. I also had some issues and support wasnt that good.

With mechbunny, konrad will get back to you via email usually pretty quickly

If photo galleries are going to be an integral part of your site, STP is still much better. But i hope konrad can catch up soon there.

Whats wrong with stp video wise? we both use ffmpeg.

I have no clue why designers ask so much, i guess because many people don't know smarty.

I actually had a better experience with videos with MB thats all. I found it easier to manage, even though I like STPs admin panel more. With picture galleries, you guys have a much better interface too.

As for the designers I really dont know why they charge a lot more for STP designs.

Back when I tried it I remember I had some issues with my script setup and replies took a long time. Also, reading on the forums, feature requests were not even being considered. Maybe this has changed,I havent logged in in quite a while.

STP is a very good script too, I just had a better overall experience with mb. I still have my license.

Thanks for clearing that up.. much has changed, many new versions released as well.
We love new features, but we just don't add any feature people want, we have a list of features and we pick the ones that we feel are do-able and we feel add best value to the script, we don't wanna end up with a over-engineered piece of software that will only add to complexity.
Support has sped up, but man we get so many questions that are just a search away, but if you look at how active the forum is you see no-one has to wait for a very long time. I agree it could be better but we are just such a small team with many many clients.

We highly value your opinion and we are always open for input.

About Mech and Konrad, he and his script are hard to beat! we highly respect Konrads work although he's totally WRONG.. :1orglaugh
