Do you check source of your wordpress plugins?
Do you check the source code of your wordpress plugins before you upload or upgrade them?
|
Yes, always.
But I don't use many. |
Only if I need to change it in some way...
|
Depends on the source of the plugin. I don't bother checking the usual top 10 favorites.
|
No. But I only use popular plugins so many people have tried them before me.
Of course the plugin can still contain some bad code but I think the chances are pretty slim. |

I only use a handful of well known plugins, but I always check any free template that I use. |
always do
|
Yes. And templates too.
|
yep always, especially if i get a plugin not from wp.org, also always check functions.php in your themes dir that you dl, some places insert nasty code.
themeswp.com is one, stay away from them, unless you dl the zip and remove the code. it adds crap so it alters all comments with links |
