need some opinions, but not *too* many
 

ok, posted one of my first gallery submissions, just wanted some opinions. please bear in mind i'm still pretty green with all this stuff. i want honest opinions, preferrably not just telling me how horrible i am. trying to be constructive here :)

First off get rid of that conservative gray backround. Next fix the type fonts. They got a smudgy look. And last redo your logo.

the smudgy look was intended, because i didn't have a font that i was in the mood for at the time, but i can see where it might be uninteresting. the main logo isn't my creation (not my site). but, what's wrong with it? i appreciate the pointers.

260 pixel thumbs? Maybe one or two big ones to provide focus, but...

and where are you giving me any reason ot click on your links? Every text link has to be a strong call to action with an implied benefit.

I think that the thumbs are too big also. The gallery is simple, however, it is also boring.

There is absolutly no design is this page whatsoever, its a group of gigantic thumbs surrounding a larger add. with some fucking lame text and a pathetic banner at the bottom.
