...what is the SITREP on your book?

Oh it's framed.

Here is the basics.

There was some drama with my old agent. That is over, I got a new agent and as of right now the publisher is looking at either the week of May 9th or May 16th as a release date. Which one it will be depends on what other books come out on those weeks. If there is something big that is in a similar niche as mine on one of those weeks they will choose the other. They could kick it up to the first week of May as well, it all just depends on the release schedule. I should have more solid actual date sometime in January.

Well...you have had this one in the works for some time now. Are you currently working on a second book?

Yep, rough draft is about 80% done. The first book has been done for a while, just the journey to the book store that has seemed to take forever. I went to work on a second book a while back just so I have something else in the event the first one sells well (fingers crossed). This new agent has done more for me in the last couple of months than the previous one did in over a year so it looks like finally there is light at the end of the tunnel.
