12k+ for premium letters

IF the 3 chars are the initials of your company, and it's a .com then 6k is damn cheap imo premium or not.

if it's just random letters with object to invest, not worth it....

3 char and pr5 I would say it's worth it if the 3 chars mean something to you. If it's random 3 letters what's the point in promoting it unless you have plans for it.

It depends what you plan on doing with it and if the traffic is productive. In this economy $6K is a lot to shell out for a domain solely because it's only 3 characters.

I sold VYO.com for $7,500 and it wasn't nearly that old or had that PR...that said, if it was qzx.com, $6k would still be too much. I don't think most people really care about the age on a 3-letter .com vs. other domains.
