I'm not sure why no one seems to talk about this, but:

Is everyone just unaware? It is now possible for pirates to get affiliate checks for pirating exactly what the people want and delivering it to their doorstep. The more downloads of the stolen content, the more $$$ for the pirate on pay day. There are tons and TONS of blogs covered with links to 300mb-1gb movies ready for download from sites like RapidShare and Uploaded.To with one click. I think it is now easier to find a blog covered in free downloads of complete picture sets and movies than to find OUR sales of affiliate membership with previews blogs. (Few examples are fapfiles.org, not12chan.org ) They also post masses of this shit to forums -- forums where you can find PROBABLY more porn (and easily accessible) than the membership areas of the likes of megasites like Reality Kings, Bangbros, etc..

It's just another way to make money off theft. The host pretend it has no liability then share the profit with the "affiliate". Been done for years.

I get that kind of stuff on my forum from time to time. The guys post their updates as if they were gallery posts.
It is really annoying me that I have to compete with such dimwits in this industry.

This stuff has even blown message boards away. Such posts are appearing by the thousand every hour and seen by millions in minutes. It is no longer small clips, entire movies are being uploaded now.
Yet adult webmasters have no clue. Well most have left this industry anyways

I'm skeptical that they actually pay anyone. Often these things are just scams to get surfers to help kick start the business.

The forums are 10x worse then the tubes.

Complete site rips and working passwords to all the good sites.

as long as there is money in it, they will continue. i read that in court rapidshare settled by agreeing to hire 500 more people to check for copywritten material uploaded to their service. and that they make hundreds of thousands a day.. :o

I would have to disagree with that. The amount of content may be worse in some ways but the ease of use of the tubes is what drives them. Try to name even one forum with 15 million daily visits.

These kinds of file sharing services, tubes, and torrents, all kill-fuck this industry to shit. Who gives a fuck which ones are worse - they're all seriously-seriously damaging, there's no question about that.

Regardless of what that dumb lunatic gideongallery or anyone else tells you...
