As for your assertion that I must not be paying attention if I don't agree with you, I would submit that it's really easy to cite his opinions on cases, so there is no reason to use a cop out.... simply show an example of one of his opinions that you consider "extreme" or "stupidest".

Did you read the whole article? Sounds to me that he had some long standing beefs with Yale's agenda. If that is schizoid than I guess everyone that doesn't get along with their alma mater is schizoid. Along with the the Anita Hill hearings, when he felt unsupported by the school, there was also this:

"Thomas declined to comment for this article. But he did tell students at Ohio's Ashland University in 1999 that he "had some fundamental disagreements with Yale. . . . So I don't consider myself particularly close to Yale Law School." Thomas has noted that he felt rejected by liberal elites at the school"

If you read the article as a whole there is plenty for people to disagree about, but nothing in it that a reasonable person would term "schizoid"
