one last comment about the cts v coupe
put about 400 miles on the car.... drives great, power to spare, comfortable, great stereo and nav (infotainment center) the climate control kicks serious ass as well, and when you decide use the 'manual paddle shit 'and drop the car into competitive mode it kicks serious ass. got sideways about 50 mph getting on the fwy...
went ahead and had the rear windows tinted, not the driver and passenger because cally is dead broke and looking to hand out tickets. getting the rims powder coated black in 2 weeks and might have the chrome trim blacked out as well. all in all I really recommend the cts v to anyone that wants a great car to tool around in, great hwy machine and not too shabby in the 'mountains' either. was able to straighten out a few bends with out any issues. if I had one complaint it would be the coach is a bit 'plastic' however I'm used to that from driving vettes. and at mid 60K it's cheaper than a z06... with comfort to spare... one more thing. people stop and stare when it's parked and give me the thumbs up on the road everywhere I go... great looking machine in every regard. one more fun thing is the remote start. hot or cold... no biggie start the car up and let the climate control get the car ready to drive before you get in... I'd give it a 9 out 10.... |

I think it will look great with the wheels and trim black :thumbsup You plan on using vinyl on the trim?

I didn't like these cars in the beginning, but I'm warming up to them. Cadillac is for old men, not SUVs and sports cars.

i'd check the lease prior to powdercoating those wheels. you will never get the powdercoating off.

i've had tons of things pc'ed at several shops around, i highly recommend these guys http://www.ikonpowdercoating.com/ also, none of the pc shops will take your wheels off and pull the tires and keep the car during the process, so you will have to get that arranged as well, if you are familiar with all this, please disregard. :) |

- yes, NURBURGRING I was at the 2008 launch and drove one myself in a closed track, it's not for old men. Youtube has a video of the run, however I am unable to post URLS yet - it is entitled "09 CTS-V Nurburgring Record Run 7:59.32 - Garage419" and is a lesson in driving. |
