What party increases Federal spending and National debt
...Both parties but the Republicans are the biggest growers of Federal spending and increasing the National debt.

its all a fucking lie!
|
Some federal spending like in the Reagan years was necessary. The Bush and Obama years, it was unnecessary and detrimental. The Republicans are flying under the banner reducing budget spending by 100 million. Let's see if they're full of shit or not.

Yea like the $64 billion that was spent on the drug war during Reagan? That doesnt include the cost to lock up over 200,000 people for drug use during that time. Gotta love the party of less guvment. |

Gasp! So when the republicans repackage themselves every four years as the party that will shrink the government and cut spending they really aren't? I'm shocked :)

Everyone is tired of the Dens so now the Republicans have their shot. They screw up and it's all Dems come 2012.
|
the current level is at 100 billion, but unless they take the house and the senate, that will be hard to do , but they can put a halt to the Obama Agenda. Barry even said something about that on comedy central

Holy fuck... Bush jumped the % debt/gdp from 56.4% to 83.4%.
What I find interesting is that every democrotic president left office with that % lower than when they started... The Regan/Bush presidents all left office having increased that % by huge numbers. Those guys really fucked things up. |

They're all doing the same thing. They know that we'll keep switching the controlling party in and out and never look at the real problem: all of them. |

Bush was a huge progressive, Obama has now jumped debt/gdp to close to 98%. We should be close to, if not over 100% by 2012. Ton of factors go into these charts. |
All parties but Libertarians support bigger government and more spending...

That idiot Carter was the whole reason why it took 12 years and a nasty recession for the electorate to take a chance on voting another democrat into the White House. |
Both spend. One spends trillions on unnecessary wars started because of false cherry-picked 'intelligence' about another nation. The other spends trillions on providing significant improvements to our health care system which will evolve into a huge amount of research data capable of reducing costs and improving care exponentially.
The trillions get spent either way. The question is what do you want to spend them on. Oh, btw, anyone who claims one party or the other will reduce spending is simply incorrect. |
