We use Kall8. Faxes come as pdf's and are emailed to us. Very convenient.

I love using efax.com I no longer have to fax from my computer modem (dial-up) using the phone cord and fax tools.

Used efax.com in the past its great. Just be aware you might get some spam since they turnover the numbers pretty often(people signup for the 30day trial just to recieve a few faxes then number goes back into pool). I used to get other companies bank statements and random shit all the time.

I only use efax to send out faxes not to receive. so for me its a pretty good deal instead of paying for it at kinkos or some print shop.

It's a feature Google Voice will be adding at some point.

and sending faxes?

DVTimes 10-31-2010 07:11 PM

its one thing i miss with dial up modems was the great ability to send fax from any prog (selecting fax rather than print).

is there any aps to send a fax using your mobile phone?

somtimes i think about getting an old pc back up running with a modem just to send fax's. then i think i cannot be bothered.

I've got an Android app that works quite well. I just take a photo of the doc with my phone and then to their system from the phone, and it's added to the queue and sent.

I have only had to use it in a pinch on the road, but it does work when it's needed.

thats cool.

i just remebered, on my old 486 i had a free prog with my modem that was an answer phone. when somone phoned it would kick in and you could add options such as 'press 1 to leave adam a message' 'press 2 to send a fax' and so on. i loved that. it used bug my mates.

i seemed to have far more fun with my old 486 than i do now.

i looked at efax.

looks good.

but i will sign up next time i have to send a fax.

as the chances are that i will send at most 1 fax a year, its hardly worth me signing up to just yet.

its a shame it does not have a pay as you go option.

sandman! 10-31-2010 08:28 PM

My old provider done this before efax bought them out it was great, loaded my account with $10 and just emailed documents that neeeded to be faxed maybe 1-2 a month.
