whats the outlook for Tuesday?

Been trying to keep up on whats been going on in the election, they have been getting pretty mean on some of the ads and I'm getting tired of the political phone calls.
I predict that in the house the democrats are going to lose 58 seats and in the senate they are going to lose 8 seats. That will give a 50/50 in the senate and GOP control in the house. But an upset would be getting the senate in GOP control, which would take away a lot of power from the POTUS.
I think there will be a low turn out for Democrats and high for independents and republicans. People pissed off is a good motivator

Prop 19 in California will be close, I'm against it, I like it the way it is and don't want the government involved in it

I hope Boxer looses and I don't really care about Meg and Brown, they are both bad

You mean "lose", not "loose".

Try learning the fucking language!

It is my considered opinion that people who find themselves unable to communicate due to lack of understanding of the language should shut the fuck up.

Thank you for your support!

for me, the politician filling the seat is inconsequential at this point, the propositions are much more important esp. props 20, 21, 22, 23 & 26

Still reading up on them, but this is what I have so far

19, no
20, no, Don't trust government committee's
21, no, learn to work with less money first
22, yes, but I'm still reading it
23, no, I like having clean air
24, not sure yet
25, no, 2/3rd's is better
26, yes, 2/3rd's is better
27, yes, prop 11 just barely passed and again, committees

Dem President and Senate
Rep House
Prop 19 won't pass

I like the Rep house, and Dem senate under a Dem Pres. That works out well. I'd rather see Prop 19 pass though.

GAMEFINEST 10-31-2010 06:46 PM

we are fucked regardless..of the outcome

mynameisjim 10-31-2010 07:14 PM

Sarah Palin takes control of the government via a violent, blood soaked overthrow or the Republicans take a slim lead in the house.

One or the other.

fatfoo 10-31-2010 08:52 PM

"I like having clean air" sounds like a good choice.

I think the republicans will end up with a 15-20 seat majority in the house and the democrats will end up with a 1-2 seat majority in the senate. I also thing Prop 19 will be close, but ultimately fail.

With a republican house and a democrat senate they will most likely be lame duck upon arrival so we will see two years of not much more than arguing, finger pointing and name calling. They will agree on very little and get next to nothing done as both parties angle for control in 2012.

Can't we just fire them all and start over??????
No good outcome in this election cycle, no matter who wins!
Fucked for at least two more years!
Normally I'm a optimist, but when it comes to politics, it seems I'm more a pessimist every day!

Now fix your apostrophe!

"Nazis", not "Nazi's"; what with "Nazis" indicating plural and "Nazi's" indictating the possessive.

Nazi's what?

;)

Now as far as Prop 19 goes, as long as Obama opposes it, which he does and federal law still illegaizes pot, it really doesn't make a shit what happens. The feds will simply grandstand a few high profile pot busts and scare everyone into submission.

VikingMan 11-01-2010 07:14 AM

Both Repub and Dem candidates are controlled by the same people behind the scenes so it never matters who wins. In the end we will be bombing the fuck out of more countries, millions of illegal aliens will get amnesty, and education will continue to go down the drain. That's the plan man:2 cents:

Is there such a word as "illegaizes?"

But thanx for playing

There are other ramifications that legalizing it will happen, but I simply just don't want the government to get their hands on my crop

Things are different now, the Tea Party is pissing off the GOP too, they are basically forcing them to be what they say they are, or face unemployment, look at the race in Alaska with Joe Miller. The Tea Party is also going to keep on the government after the elections to insure they do as promised, I think with that kind of pressure things will change
