So, the black kids showed up in large numbers for their Halloween candy last night.
I know damn well that none of them were from the neighborhood. Someone dropped them off so they could poach their candy from a decent and wealthy neighborhood.
The very first group of them came to my door and it was non-stop yapping: "Wuts kinds uh candiez ya gots?", "I doan likes dat stuff. Gots anythun bettah?", "Aw, man, you be rich! Gives us sum mo' candy!", "Watcha cookin' in dere? Smellz gooooooood!", "Dat yo car?", "How much yo house worf?", "I gots ta use da baffroom!" There were about 10 of the budding criminals in that first group. The candy bowl I held out to them had enough candy in it for 30 kids. The black kids tore into it and they tried to grab handfuls of candy. I snatched the bowl away before they could empty it. They bitched, "Why ya do dat?" I told the ones that hadn't gotten any candy yet to get if from their friends. Then I shut the door. I definitely heard one of them say "Cheap ass mother fucker!" as they slinked off to lay siege to my neighbor. I should mention that NOT ONE black kid ever said "Thank You". Not one. The white and asian kids, for the most part, said thank you and didn't try to bogart all the candy. |
where do you live ?
|
Every year someone would drop a group of city kids off in our neighborhood. This seems to be pretty common. I live in the city now and our doorbell didn't ring a single time. :1orglaugh
As kids, we always made sure they were off to another neighborhood fairly quickly. |

Kids are kids - Halloween is not just for "whites".
Really getting tired of prejudice and stereotyping |
talking about peoples kids is just wrong. your an adult why didn't you tell them to say thank you. when i was growing up other kids parents looked out for me. when i did something my parents knew right away.

I've lived in the neighborhood for about 6 years. It's the first time I've seen this happen here. I've heard about it happening in other neighborhoods, but where I live is far away from the traditionally black neighborhoods. It's as if someone scouted the neighborhoods that were most likely to offer quality candy and then the light fingered black spawn were dropped off to carry out their raids. |

A second group of about 8 black kids showed up soon after, and the scenario was basically the same as before. After that, I ended up watching the road and if black kids were heading my way (you would hear them before you saw them) I turned off all the lights.
Just after I had handed out candy to a group of neighborhood kids, I noticed a large group of black kids heading up my driveway. They saw me. I immediately closed the door, locked it, and turned off all the lights. They stood on my porch for a few minutes ringing the doorbell repeatedly, banging on the door, and one of them kept turning the door handle to see if he could get in. They were pissed! They moaned and griped and bitched about "He be rayciss!", "We saw him give dem white kidz candiez!", "Motherfucking rayciss cracker!", and on and on they went. They finally started shuffling away, but I was worried about them vandalising my property. I went and turned on the security flood lights which are VERY bright. This caused them to bitch and moan some more, but it also caused them to leave more quickly. Almost forgot. The black kids basically had no costumes. A number of them simply put on knit hats with a sports team logo on it. This gave them the appearance of being a roving band of burglars which is probably not far off the mark. There were also no parents with them that I could see. |
and your point is?

Your story sounds made up. kids have been going to different neighborhoods forever. As a kid you want to score the most candy as you can. if you're worried about kids from other places coming and taking candy then don't give out candy. Picking and choosing which kids you choose to give out to makes you a major asshole, and used douche bag water drinker.

I wonder what he'd think of all the white kids that were stealing ALL of the candy off the porches of the waterfront homes we were at last night because their owners were not there to hand it out? |

What if you just handed each one "one" or "two" candies yourself. Why would you let any kid pick from the bowl. Problem solved.
When we would hand out the candy to kids we just gave one or two pieces max so that we knew we wouldn't run out...by 8:30 the last few groups of kids would score big :) |

I get groups of older black kids as well but they are nice. I don't know why but most of them don't wear any costumes and many don't say thank you ?
I hand out one candy bar per kid and if they have a decent costume I'll give them 2 or 3. |
The same thing (sort of) happens here.
The little kids dressed up with their parents are clearly having a good time. You grab some candy and drop it into their bags and they love it - clearly this is an amazing holiday for them, and dishing out the candy is fun for Tracy and I too. There are other kids who clearly don't deserve anything. A few teenagers showed up with garbage bags, not dressed up at all. A few teen "hootchies" I call them (14 year old girls with short tight dresses and too much makeup) tried to pass off off their slut clothes as halloween costumes, completely with fucking idiot driving up the street with loud rap music coming from his car). The cops stopped him at the corner and gave him a hard time though at least. I'm not a big halloween fan but I like seeing how little kids eat this stuff up. It's a shame to have asshole teens (and perhaps their parenets or guardians?) ruin it. |
Mo' money mo' problems?

The kids in our neighborhood were very respectful, that includes all races.
Much better behaved then me and my buddies did around that age. And we lived in the predominantly white wealthy area. If there was a bowl just sitting out, there was no question that bowl was empty when we were done with it. I can't even remember all the trouble we used to cause. We were just little terrors, has nothing to do with race. |

We always get kids from poorer areas and that's cool as long as they are kids and dressed up it's my pleasure to give them candy. Disrespectful kids drive me crazy though, if they aren't polite they get nothing I don't care where they come from or what color they are.
We had a scented candle in the pumkins, mainly because I just grabbed a bunch of candles and didn't pay attention. The front of my house smelled like vanilla lol.. one kid asked if there were cupcakes, I told him there are non it's the pumpkin that smells like that and to never eat a cupcake he gets from a strangers house lol. |

I didn't get one white kid here but all the kids said "thank you!" so that was nice. I thought we would have had more so I'm stuck with a huge bowl of candy :( I have PMS so I'm sure I will be eating it.

You mentioned criminals and neighborhoods. Of course, it's possible for a person to move around the whole city, or even through different cities. I suppose you could try to memorize faces of who is a criminal and who is not.
|
we had about 50 kids come by for candy and everyone was polite, even the little boys that were roughhousing a little bit
