How long does it take for mail to make it out from Toronto, ON to New Jersey?

I am talking about standard mail from Canada.

5 - 7 days I think....

I'd say 7 business days or less.

a standard letter should be about a week ...97% of the time...

i mailed a letter from st john new brunswick to los angeles, took about 4-5 days. this was about 6 months ago.

Is there some Canadian holiday that would have delayed delivery times in the past month?

I've gotten mail from Toronto to NJ in 6 days.

It's really random from Canada to the U.S. I know some things can get there really quick, and others get tied up at customs.

Canadian thanksgiving was on the 11th Oct..
but a standard letter posted in Toronto should be in the US postal system in three days..and delivery should be two or three days after that..

It's possible to use urgent fast service for 3 days delivery, isn't it? It's going to be more expensive.

I got a check from webcams.com from wherever they are in canada to michigan. It took like 10 days.

7 to 10 days for sure. The issue is the mail sits at the boarder for a few days before the US postal service takes over.
