New puppy pictures!
 

He was 6 weeks old yesterday, the day he came home. He's been to the vet a lot as a precaution -- he is 110% healthy -- because the other two in the litter did not survive. His mother dried up early and because of this, and how healthy he is, the vet said he could come home to us now.

He is 75% house trained. We take him to the wee wee pads every two hours and he goes when he has to. He did miss by about two inches on his first poop but he tried and knew where he was supposed to be. He responds to his name (old owner raised him as Bam Bam per our request) and stops what he is doing when he hears the word no.

We couldn't have asked for a better puppy.

Goodness! I didn't notice how small he was the first time I looked. Wow. He's even smaller than these two were - and I thought they were small. I was so scared of stepping on them, I walked around the house bent over and staring at the floor for six months.

Puddin' Pup Sparky, and Chihuahua / Fox Terrier mix Bailey. He's about 20lbs, she's 15lbs.

I originally thought the Chihuahua was going to stay tiny, but she ended up getting big.

Shelly, poor thing cannot even make it up a single step yet! Luckily, someone is always home to watch over him. He won't be left alone at any point for a few more weeks and even then we're usually not out for more than two or three hours at a time.

I tried to get him to sleep in his bed last night but he kept fussing so I let him sleep on my chest; he passed out for the entire night as soon as I put him there. He loves heartbeats.

The lady we got him from was texting us pics but he always looked much bigger. That's why I like to picture of him with the Coke can; sums his size up perfectly. He is so tiny; 2 lbs. to be exact. He will be anywhere from 4 to 10 lbs. based on his relatives.
