Retrieving PR for domains in a large list?

Say I want to process the corresponding PageRank for each in a large list of domains. How do I go about processing say 100k pages in a day? I've looked over some PHP classes for retrieving PR, but can they process that number of requests in a day? It seems like Google would bitchslap my IP for doing this. But then again I've got desktop apps that will burn through like 30k domains and retrieve PR for me with no huge hangups. How are they doing it?

proxies are the only way to do that many why not just buy a copy of something that has a pr checker built in ?

i can think of one program under $100 that does what you want to do with proxies.

There is a few services you can pull it via API, I like this one.

http://theeasyapi.com/

You get 500 free queries a day and $20 a month for 2500 a day, $40 a month for 5000 a day and $200 a month gets you unlimitted queries per day.

I run about 3-5k a day through it day after day for several months now, no issues at all yet, they also have other data (IP/ZIP db etc).

Where is the information regarding rates on that site? All I can find is free tools. I guess I have to signup to take a look?
