an idea for nats
I wonder if others would also think this a good idea.
I wonder would it be a nice idea than to rather keep entering your details each time when you join a nats site, to (a bit like ccbill) simply have it set up so 'nats' has the info, and all you do is enter a username and password and all your info is automaticly inserted. Just saves a bit of time. Just a thought. |
Good idea, actually. NATS could quite easily integrate with the likes of http://www.openid.net/, and Microsft Passport. So if you have an account with either, signup is a 10 second process.
And if anyone from NATS actually reads this, here's some other constructive criticism: 1.) The administration panel is a pain to navigate though. Drop $1500 into a designer, and get that fixed up. 2.) It's great that you use Smarty templates, so everything is standardized. It sucks that you keep all the template code in the mySQL database. Move the templates to files on the server, allowing for designers to skin the sites much easier. 3.) Add in support to show free-joins within affiliate reports, and quickly. It's somewhat hard to swallow that the affiliate software leader of the online adult industry doesn't show the free joins in affiliate stats. That's all I have for now. :) PS. Your guys' support is excellent, or at least from what I experienced it is. |
Yeah that would be better to all of us, we know that NATS can really do that.

Nats is hosted on the licensee's server and I sure hope the affiliate datebase is not accessible to other licensees. In fact I am it is not, and if it was, no one would ever admit it.
But what you are trying to accomplish you can, with an auto form filler. Once you fill out one Nats form, all the rest follow the same format and one of the many softwares that help you remember forms you've filled and automate the task can fill the rest for you. |

but its a pain. as most forms seem standered i am sure nats could have some system. mabe they could provide affiliates a small prog or somthing so your info is only on your pc, but it would add thre details to the nats site plus keep track of what sites you joined and your username/password. its just often i go to sign up to a nats site and when i see the form, i just feel sad. |
that would be a nice feature but until then a form filler program would help.
|
that would be really great option to add

first time people seem to ever think one of my ideas are ok.

You should look into a career in the fortune telling profession :)

i thank you. if anyone else wants to consult with me on any ideas, just let me know. and if DamianJ is reading this thread, can I just say 'shove it up your bottom with your rubbish ideas', clearly mine are great. i am great. |
Of course CCBill also allows all accounts to be merged and paid out at once which is the primary benefit. Personally unless NATS is going to do this I don't want all of my programs under one ID and I definitely want to keep some sort of firewall between programs so that they do not have unrestricted shared access to my info and stats.
