How to get a 4 or 6 digit ICQ number?
 

I wanted to change my icq into 4 to 6 number to make it easy to remember in my head, if ever knows how let me know.

i hear that there are a lot of people here that sell short ICQs...

you can buy a short one...but it will most likely be stolen from you if you dont protect it enough..lol

Good lucking finding a 4 digit. I actually managed to figure out the login to my ancient ICQ number about a year ago or so. I think I lucked out.

You can buy them on eBay, but they don't seem to be very cheap anymore.

not but seriously im sure you are just trolling but icq numbers are generated as they are registered...

the earlier you made your icq account .. the shorter the number...you cant just make any number you want

maybe people still sell small numbers on ebay

AFAIK they go in a linear order. 4 and 6 digit ICQ numbers are already taken

There's no such thing as a 4 digit ICQ number. They starting issuing them in 6 digits.

what Fris said, 5 digits were the first, I used to have a five digit ICQ number but lost it, no clue what the number was.

5 digit numbers were reserved for developers of ICQ and a few choice alpha testers and the developers had to approve you to sign-up for them. You couldn't freely register them then.

When they went into beta and and then full launch to the public, they were offered in 6 digits.
