Georgian Bay General Hospital is the hospital in my home town where I spent the first 21 years of my life, and where my mother, sister, and 4 nieces and nephews live still to this day! It is the largest hospital in the area, and has the best care facilities north of Barrie, Ontario - more than a half hour away ...

I remember when Georgian Bay General was first built ... what a sharp looking hospital it was - and still is - nested within a a large, natural, mature Maple, Beech, and Birch forest. The view from rooms in the North wing is nothing short of beautiful ....

But I digress ... we started this competition in 33rd spot, and have climbed the ranks to our current 10th spot - which we have held for several weeks now ...
