Yeah, the only thing I would have done different is maybe snaked the cables behind the wall of get some sourt of a conduit or something to make it look neater.

IllTestYourGirls 11-13-2010 07:30 AM

Don't look inside your own case. I guarantee it's filthy.

Nice idea until loads of people copy it. Good for cooling too I would expect.

woj 11-13-2010 07:34 AM

pretty slick :thumbsup

Yeah, actually this would be easier to keep clean I imagine.

Could be.

ThumbLord 11-13-2010 07:50 AM

I love the idea, the cables could be better hidden indeed but heh

Scott McD 11-13-2010 07:50 AM

Not sure i would want all that visable to be honest...

MrBottomTooth 11-13-2010 07:56 AM

Reminds me of the Antec Open Air Case where all the parts are exposed. Although this is much cooler. Agree it would look better with the cables tidied up.

Rochard 11-13-2010 08:33 AM

That's not really impressive at all. Looks like my computers back in 1995 when I built them from scratch.

Cyber Fucker 11-13-2010 12:00 PM

Interesting, however, not my cup of tea, I don't like guts exposed.

just a punk 11-13-2010 12:22 PM

Kiopa_Matt 11-13-2010 03:18 PM

Yeah, but then you'll end up with drunken assholes at your house, who decide it'd be a funny joke to quickly switch your hard drives on you, and shit like that.

respect 11-13-2010 03:44 PM

really nice setup

docputer 11-13-2010 04:20 PM

I used to have something like that long ago. Didn't look nearly that nice(mounted on plywood), If you had to change dvd's out very often it would be a pain to have to reach to that upper right corner.

BIGTYMER 11-13-2010 04:38 PM

I don't like it. I'm a fan of big old school towers.

gaffg 11-13-2010 04:45 PM

nice setup

bloggerz 11-13-2010 04:54 PM

not my taste

WebAdultSolution 11-13-2010 05:10 PM

Django 11-13-2010 05:13 PM

ruff 11-13-2010 08:26 PM

Cool. Is that blue thing above the top drive a fan? That cable for the video card is nice, did you make that or find it somewhere?

HBKKH 11-14-2010 12:10 AM

i'm digging the set up

$5 submissions 11-14-2010 12:59 AM

Thats just what I was thinking. That's a pretty cool idea... I saw a PC built into an aquarium on youtube but I like this idea much better.

I wonder if that cable causes problems. I've always had bad luck with bus connectors and if someone told me they would use a cable to connect the bus to a video card I'd think it would be too buggy to work. By the monitors below though you can see it working quite well. Go figure!

loreen 11-14-2010 02:40 AM

Looks funny, but yeah - it's probably noisier.

CunningStunt 11-14-2010 02:49 AM

I like the industrial look. In reality, the noise would piss me off.

Machete_ 11-14-2010 03:00 AM

- it's noisy
- should have sleeved the cables, it's a mess.

Slutboat 11-14-2010 03:03 AM

how lame

cashcows 11-14-2010 03:09 AM

It's cool if you don't mind breathing all of the Toxic fumes PC's put off especially when new. I port my exhaust out the window and it also keep the from using the air conditioning as much. These PS make a lot of heat.

madawgz 11-14-2010 03:37 AM

looks pretty cool :thumbsup

djroof 11-14-2010 05:55 AM

kick ass set up!

John-ACWM 11-14-2010 06:57 AM

First time I see this kind of layout and it's really cool and interesting.

Finike 11-14-2010 07:10 AM

It is easy to clean using a vacuum cleaner ...

Realgfs 11-15-2010 02:44 AM

I like it.. But I bet it gets dusty quite fast, if it was in my house

calvinawe 11-15-2010 03:51 AM

had something similar about 12 years ago.. well, on a low-brow way, but still.

adwank 11-15-2010 04:59 AM

Looks good! :thumbsup

Davy 11-15-2010 05:50 AM

Looks cool. I would not trust the air cooling, though. There's a reason why components are kept in a case. They usually have a constant flow of air going through them.
