PinupDollars Should Get Fucking Serious About Business
 

Signed up as an affiliate last week with pinupdollars. Waited 24-48 hours for my account approval. Nothing! Have sent them several emails questioning. Nothing!

Doesn't seem that they want to seriously be in the biz.

I usually don't even bother if they have to approve me. Part of it is for what you brought up (waste of my time) the other part is that I notice those who require this are often some of the biggest micro-managers and affiliate unfriendly programs to work with. It seldom works out.

BTW, for those who do this please list that you require manual activation on the signup form so we know prior to giving you our info.

took a few weeks for me i forgot i signed up and what for...

Nothing like GFY to solve a problem.

I signed up and demanded to receive $1 Billion dollars from them.
Have not heard back, yet. I was disappointed that they did not transfer the money in the first 30 minutes after I contacted them. But I got really disappointed after they did not approve my account in the first 24 hours. How am I going to get rich if they do not send me my $1 Billion?

I can't think of a program I have joined in the last couple of years that does not require manual approval. It's a must in today's market.

That's nothing,there was one program which approved me after 6 months.

I've joined six different programs in the last week and not one required it. It isn't a must by any means. There are plenty of other options.

No they dumped their ccbill options instead of running it duel with nats, how fucking dumb can you get.

The ones that piss me off the most are those that say they approve within 48 hours, but you hear nothing so you move on and forget about them.
Then 6 months later you start getting promotional emails as if they signed you up. So you check them out and find you can login and get affiliate codes and have probably been able to get them for months.

They have great content, but the FGH's are terrible. 12 pics that are almost identical and autostart videos with crappy music.

They have so much potential, and its a damn shame they cant get someone with a tad more vision to run the program.

P.S. -- we have an approval process because we pay through NATS, meaning we get paid and we pay out of our own pockets shortly thereafter. As such, due to the extremely high volume of fraud that goes on in this business, we have to make sure that every affiliate we get is legitimate and on the level, so it takes a bit more time to investigate each one and make sure everything is good. However, it shouldn't take more than a couple of days to do this, so if it is taking longer, please let me know.

Pinupdollars has incredible retention and a helluvalot of updates for webmasters.

Automation may have turned some of their tools into cookie-cutter content (I don't think so) but that's a real small point they'll adjust to and you can fix by hosting your own galleries, for example. They also have cool shit like deep-linking to model profiles which you won't commonly find, and this was all in direct response to affiliate feedback.

They hitched a little during the transition between managers, but that's almost to be expected and all seems back on track.

You won't find much kvetching by active affiliates with them.

And besides, Jelena shoots for them and you can just feeel her boobs against your back when you're posting her galleries...

Gotta agree with erooup in this one, the selection of images/clips within each gallery are all far too similar. I suggest finding a designer that has actually worked as a TGP gallery submitter, rather than one that just makes things look pretty.

Saw this thread pop up again. Some good suggestions for improving their program i think.

Just a little report from me so far with pinupdollars since the beginning of the thread:

I haven't sent a ton of traffic thus far. Not sure if they count 1 page clicks, 2nd, join or what. As of today I am at 0:3,800

Many of their thumbs are very popular on my 4 bikini sites, many ranking at or near the top row on many of the sites most days. I have a 3 day rotation going on those sites with a very high skim to galleries of 80% -90%, so they are getting tons of gallery views.

Obviously my Bikini Surfers do love the big tits and are attracted to the thumbs, but if it gets to 0:10,000 they will have to go I am afraid.

If you're getting that low of a conversion rate, then I want to address it with you personally, and will send you a message. Our normal conversion rates for our overall program are consistently well under 1:1000 so I want to see if we can improve this for you.

i dont think ive signed up there but i hate the approval thing too...doesnt it take the same amount of time to just let everyone be approved, and then check the accounts and disable them if you see something fishy?

please look at the photo - I have 80 join hits and 59 submits. why there is no cash from those submits?
I mean, as a submit I understand that the person joined and claimed the payment. huh?
maybe someone here knows the answer :)

Aimee was the only reason I was promoting them. I worked closely with her when she was with CHC and she asked me to do some promos for their stuff. I hadn't spoke to her in quite some time and it appears as though she is the one who was let go? :Oh crap

a submit is not a join, unfortunately. just means they put in their name/email but didn't get thru the CC part. why they didn't get past that point can be a few reasons, but either way = not a join

A join submit is definitely not a join... it just means they started the join process but did not complete it for any number of reasons... Overall our conversions are really good, please feel free to hit me up on icq if you have further questions!
