Huge waves rock the Florida coast over the weekend

I was at the beach by my house to watch the surfers... I don't know much about surfing, but I know the waves here suck for surfers even when they are big like this they barely ever break right to get a good run. Saw a few guys ride a couple nice ones, but overall as usual I felt bad for most of them, sitting out there with barely anything to do.

On the beach it was fun, everyone was basically back up against the back of the beach, the waves were crashing into the the entire beach almost. Almost had my wife sucked out to the sea by one surprise one, luckily I grabbed her just in time.

Wow,that's crazy.

I spent many a day surfing in Daytona as storms rolled in.
