Best coders site to have a site "cloned"

I see a site that is mainstream that has a script that I want to clone and use for adult purposes. Which of the coding sites is best affordable and trustworthy? Thanks.

split the job up

hire someone to do the analysis to give you a proper spec for the project

then hire any coder to code the application

it will be way cheaper over all

guy who under stand black box analysis are not cheap, and you don't want to pay us to do grunt coding work.

carzygirls 11-16-2010 11:55 PM

post about programmers sucking ass on this board.. maybe somebody will step up to the plate

tjl_cfp 11-17-2010 12:22 AM

Well if you use NATS then you pirate the software of John they don't allowed that kind of things :) hahaha

MetaMan 11-17-2010 12:26 AM

How much are you willing to pay?

raven1083 11-17-2010 12:42 AM

good luck on that

Stacks Banned for Life 11-17-2010 03:47 AM

you need russians!

JOP 11-17-2010 05:37 AM

I used rentacoder and elance before. Never got any good results when doing bigger projects. Maybe it was bad luck, but I donīt really think so. Itīs still great to get CSS cut, get extensions for other sofware and such smaller tasks.

I don't think anyone should take programming advice from someone who calls a script an application.
:2 cents:

That's gideongallery and he is a basement dwelling walmart working lunatic. You shouldn't take any advice from him, period.

TheDoc 11-17-2010 07:46 AM

Depending on the site/script in question.... it may already have a clone. Unless the site/code idea is really new.

Sites like codecanyon.net (my fav), hotscripts.com, scripts.com and others have clones and frameworks of many various scripts/sites. Check'em out, you may find exactly what you need and it cost you less than $100.

TheDoc 11-17-2010 07:51 AM

Shameless aff link drop for CodeCanyon! Worth it though, Tanker introduced me to it, it's the best damn Script site I've came across so far.

Altwebdesign 11-17-2010 07:52 AM

hit me up, let me take a look for you

yep cc is nice, probably not the best for him though since the clone isnt probably there, and those guys will charge more than the usual guys.

i would use scriptworkz from here, he has always come through for me with quality and good pricing.

not sure if hes booked at the moment though.

NaughtyRob 11-17-2010 03:46 PM

From Rob's description it sounds like he wants an application built rather than a script. Either way, lines of both are blurred right now. Script: helps another application do the job.. Application: standalone.

Smartass comment fail.

Also, gideon is right.

I haven't seen what you want to clone but if it's something bigger than a simple script that can be done in half a day, it will be cheaper to hire someone to spec it out & do the initial design and then hand off the blueprints to the cheaper workers. Same idea as building a house. You get an architect to do the important stuff and get less experienced people to follow the plans. Otherwise you'll have a disaster on your hands complaining about how programmers suck.

Code Canyon looks sweet, my search came up empty there but I found what I was looking for. Now to make it work in the adult arena. Time will tell.

EXCELLENT, even better hire a project manager to do this ( like me)
also adding to this great suggestion, when you ask the coder, he will allways choose the language he knows more (if he knows more then one) , thats is sometimes not really good.

ditto on that. php and programing is just to complicated for most of the guys looking for work on elance and those sites. I actually find that the bidding doesnt help the cost down. The opposite on those sites because there are so many people looking to get jobs done prices seem to be hiring using that avenue. Even when you try to pick the guy with the best reviews and pay a little more same end result. Unusable results.

be careful agreeing with me even when i am right will get you labeled as traitor and an idiot

of course since every legal prediction i have ever made has happened just like i said it would you would be wrong in all of those case too it sort of funny that here only the people who are right are called idiots.

You're better off rolling your own. It's a combination of PHP and backtick calls. No, really.
