Longshot: Anyone have a tutorial on converting WordPress to be sponsor hosted?
Where all links carry the referral information needed to track sales. I had one from somewhere before but lost it in a HD crash.
:helpme |
would be easy with a wp plugin. in the post text, just put something like AFFID where you want the affiliate id. then with the plugin just do a str_replace("AFFID", $_GET['affid']);. (of course, sanatize the $_GET['affid'] to numbers only (assuming ccbiill).
There are probably text replacement wp plugins out there that will do this. (and you can just do <a href="site.com/affcode=<?=$_GET['affid'];?> in your template for banners etc. (again, make sure you strip anything but letters/numbers from $_GET['affid'];) |

CyberSEO used to have a plugin for Sponsors to use that did this. Not sure if he still sells and supports it, of if it's been rolled into something else.
I have a copy of it somewhere on a server. I will see what I can dig up. |
There is an addon for blog organizer that provides that function for sponsor hosted blogs.
