FeedWordPress sometimes strips out the affiliate codes from sponsored feeds it syndicates, so you are getting your blog filled with posts where links do not contain your your code. WP-o-matic works with WP database directly, so it may crash your blog once upon a time :2 cents:
If you want fast easy in use stable and freeware plugin which was written by a webmaster for webmasters, so there is no alternative to CyberSyn. Here is the short list of its features: - CyberSyn doesn’t use big and slow 3rd-party GPL libraries like SimplePie or MagpieRSS. It parses the RSS feeds for those XML tags only that can be imported into WordPress posts and ignores everything else. So it has rather compact and extremely fast code!
- Advanced RSS parsing algorithm has an ability to pull the feeds fully automatically. Furthermore, you can assign the updating period to each particular feed. Also you can set up a maximum number of posts that will be syndicated from the feed at once. This is a very useful feature for SE optimization of your blogs, because search engines don't like blogs that add 100 or more posts at once.
- Adjustable post uniqueness identification by GUID, post name or both.
- CyberSyn has no problem with syndicating various embedded media content such as tube videos etc.
But if you are looking for a professional high end solution and ready to spend $24.95, you have to check CyberSEO Suite :thumbsup
There is no such an RSS or XML feed which can not be correctly handled with CyberSEO Suite. Even TUBE XML's in all possible formats (TubeX, TubeAce, Smart Tube, YouTube and so on) are supported. So with CyberSEO Suite you can build your own WordPress tube site, like this one, for example: http://www.bdsmtubex.com/
And of course with CyberSEO Suite you can syndicate usual blog-style sponsored RSS feeds. You can automatically rewrite and synonymize them, add your own HTML code, shuffle paragraphs, save pictures to a local hos and many many many more...
