I dread Thanksgiving
 

My inlaws always rush the house.They never bring shit or even say thanks.When I complain my wife just says that's how my family is.These assholes have never fed me,but every holiday I have to put up with them barging in.

piss in their coffee, they'll never know.

Take a shit in the pumpkin pie. They'll never know.

I would just say to enjoy the company while there's company willing to come around.

maybe you should send an email to them and ask to bring a dish or wine. ive been in the same situation before with an ex I dated and yes, it is VERY annoying. I was taught when you go to someones house to eat, even if they say don't bring anything you do anyway.

i highly doubt they will get upset, but to them, its probably the norm that they show up, eat and leave. I'd email/facebook/call and ask to bring wine, desert or something

I was always taught that if you came over someone's house to bring something.Maybe I am being picky.I don't mind feeding them...but they always leave with other shit as well.

YEah I always bring things. at the very least bring a bottle of wine for the home owners.

It's one day. You can stand anything for that long.
