Really fucking weird SE results
Got 100~ or so SE hits to a new blog today, most of them came from completely retarded terms that I haven't targeted and more to the point - haven't even come close to aiming for.
5: michael clayton 4: citadel outlets 4: wizard of oz hanging 3: cyber monday electronic deals 3: allu arjun engagement 3: teen+pornostar 3: lisa lampanelli 3: ace hardware 3: mature 3: blond+fucks 3: barry sanders jr 2: toys r us free shipping code 2: boise state 2: turkey tetrazzini 2: kyle brotzman 2: tvbs 2: bowl projections 2: teenporr 2: smallville season 10 episode 10 2: small business saturday 2: red+head+sex 2: willie nelson 2: hardcore+petite 2: black friday online deals 2: jeff dunham 2: turkey pot pie recipe 2: best buy cyber monday 2010 1: porn teenage 1: american express small business saturday 1: mature teen porn 1: barely legal images 1: teenage porn In bold are the terms I'd actually expect to get some action on, but why the fact are people getting directed to my teen porn site with the search term "turkey pot pie recipe" and "bowl projections"? |
looks like someone needs a Clooney movie, a hammer and a hot, petite redhead :)
I'm not sure why you would get those results. I once got a handful of hits for the search term "sexy truck". Are you doing anything on the site involving google trends because some of those are terms that have been hot on trends the last few days? |
Is it a good recipe though?
:1orglaugh I regularly look through the search terms list on sites and wonder wtf? I sometimes think google just sends people at random sites for a laugh. |
Check that they are actually human visitors and not bots using a fake referring url.
|
Do you have any approved comments on the blog? Comment spam can bring in SE traffic for terms like that.

Looks to me like your blog might be hacked and serving hidden links.
Check the source of your blog, near the footer. You might have to refresh several times , some of these hacks are sneaky. Check the google results for your blog: do a "site:yoururl.com" search , then do a "michael clayton site:yourblog.com" |
I have a brand new blog up since yesterday and I got the following in stats.
bcs bowls 1 25 % 2010 bowl projections 1 25 % cwtv 1 25 % rose bowl 1 25 % What the fuck, Google? |
