Honestly the Grey Cup is Canada's
greatest embarassment. jesus. after watching the NFL all day and then turning on that ................ whatever it was :1orglaugh
What was wrong with it? Didn't watch it myself.
it's a nail biter.
BC Lions!!
it's totally bush league, the players are so much smaller on the line, the field is bigger making the players look even smaller. the montreal quarterback appears to have the throwing motion of a shot putter and looks like he struggles to throw it 20 yards.
the field has cheesey ads all over it. the half time show had old rock geezers, i believe it was BTO - the Super Bowl has its share of old rock geezers but Aerosmith and Paul McCartney are legendary. BTO is legendary in Winnipeg. |
only 3 downs :/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CFL_USA
The term CFL USA refers to the abortive expansion of the Canadian Football League (CFL) into the United States in the early-to-mid 1990s. The 1993 CFL season saw the addition of the first American team to the league, the Sacramento Gold Miners. By the 1994 CFL season, there were four American teams, and in the 1995 CFL season, there were five, which were then split off into their own South Division. However, following the 1995 season, the only American team remaining was the Baltimore Stallions, which were moved to Montreal and renamed the Montreal Alouettes for the 1996 CFL season. |
