what an awesome and ironic twist to the Bum Fights story - I wonder if the notoriety he gained from the videos led to his recovery.

that was a really good article. It goes to show you anyone can be turned around with a little help. Kudos to that Barry Soper guy for starting them out with work and being there as a friend when it would have been very easy to turn his back and think of them as nothing more then human debris

instead of blaming bumfights for who he was, he should thank them for helping him get on his feet and admit his drinking was his own fault no one elses. lol

I do remember Bum Fights. I saw the creater of Bum Fights on a talk show like Dr. Phil or something. The man who made bums fights on film was heavily criticized.

Barry Soper is a helluva guy. Were it not for him I'd say old Rufus would be long-dead by now.
Yeap, Bumfights was one of the poorer business model choices people in this industry have made so far, definitely. I'm sure the money was good while it lasted but I have serious doubts it was worth it. |
