It is true that a diploma could be different in different universities or colleges. Every educational institution is in a different geographical area. Every building has walls. There is a limit to the number of people that can fit inside one room.

born and raised most of my life till i move to Vancouver a decade a go.

i grew up in Edmonton. got a 4 year genetics major/philosophy minor at the U of A. started a company and left for the mountains after that. i still have relatives there, so i am back at least once a year.
