Nope, no catch. No ads of any kind. You simply must use the resources (IPs) given you.

Does this count if you already signed up for the free blog offer? Meaning you just signed up for the free blog hosting but didnt see this promo, but would like to take advantage of this promo.

Actually, all you need to do is request an 'upgrade' from the one promo to this one, and it would solve your issue. The problem you ran into is that some people try and sign up for multiple promos, and intend to KEEP all of the different promos (i.e. multiple promo accounts). We only allow ONE promo plan per user.
