From common SEO rules - nofollow links does not transfers any link juice, so it is useless for SEO.

But if you put link on pages with huge number of traffic - you can get some to your link.

I don't necessarily buy this. Sure, nofollow links don't pass juice but I still believe that a link from a high authority domain has a positive affect on your domain authority.

My worry would be these links are temporary.

I have only ever seen one adult link on Wikipedia and it was in the footnotes section at the bottom with a reference to wikileaks or something.

Op, can you PM me a page that you control which has an adult link that you placed for SEO?

If adult link is placed in wikipedia, it will be removed very fast.
So sellers usually registers some $1 not adult related domain to place it on wiki, and 301 redirects this domain to buyers site.

My technique is different, I am creating a page with only your link, it is almost impossible to delete, I have links that have remained in place for 3 years. These links are not traffic oriented, just backlinks.

Relax - insulting your customers will get you nowhere.

Your services are rightfully being questioned and all you have to do is alleviate any fears that prospective buyers have.

Answer them patiently, be upfront about circumstantial issues and you'll get a lot of interested customers.

Thanks, the op has a link in Wiki. The link points back to his website. I don't know how many other links he owns or has access to or whether this will do anything for your SEO. I took a look with Moz and Wiki didn't even show up in the list of referers. I guess because there is no PA.
Would be interested in any success stories. Does this make any difference whatsoever?

I don't know. Maybe worth a try. is it lifetime?

if you are not a well-known well-established brand creating an article in wiki almost impossible. Cannot create a title for an ordinary brand
