Some sites from which I buy links have been affected by Google's March 2024 core update
I'm a silent buyer of a lot of links here, but something happened when Google rolled out their massive core update this March. Some of the sites I buy links from are affected, so I don't have any option but to request to pull my links, ensuring that my site doesn't inherit the penalties from Google.
To check if a site is affected by Google's March core updates, simply type 'site:domain.com' into the search bar. If the site is completely de-indexed or now only shows around 1,000 search results instead of its usual higher count (e.g., about 100k), it may have been affected |

Tbh,Google mostly just ignores spammy backlinks. It’s unlikely to penalise you, it will simply discount any links you have from those sites. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Just put the domain into semrush. If the organic has dropped off a cliff then it's been affected
