Selling Mainstream Graphic Design/Consulting Business

Hey guys,

The last 4 years I set up a company called Soigne Graphics. I really don't have time to work with this anymore so I decided to put the company for sale.

The sale includes:
- Over 70 clients I've worked with in the past, most of them returning customers.

- Our original website + our current site. Our current site is a WordPress theme. One thing I've learned about the graphic design business is that companies spend a TON of time on their own site to impress who? Other graphic designers. Thats it. 99,99% of clients don't know or don't care about pixel-perfection, W3C valid code, etc. All they want to see is that you have done work for others and can do the same for them at a decent price. That's all they want.

- Complete portfolio

You can check out the site here: http://www.bysoigne.com
Old site here: http://www.bysoigne.com/BACKUP

Only serious enquiries please, thanks

Solid first post ;) A post I 100% disagree with.

Most web designers start up and stay online. If you actually go out, talk to people, you'll find so, so many potential clients. EVERYONE wants/needs a website these days, its just a matter of taking the first step and talking to them.

It's still a very unfamiliar thing to a lot of people so they don't feel comfortable to approach a company.

I couldn't tell you how many times someone answered "Really? That's great, I have been looking for one recently" when I said I design websites.

I agree with you here, that people don't like to ask as they can see some web designers as being rip offs (well that's my view as I look at what they produce and know who builds from a box and charges a lot and who doesn't and charges something reasonable)

Web design is a funny business to be in, if you can get the business and have a steady stream of clients it works but it's when it dries up the problems come about

True. However, any business that dries up means trouble ;)

I'm not saying webdesign will make you a high-roller. But it's a very solid income if you know what you're doing. The problem is most guys waste their money on shit they don't need. Once their income stops coming in, they're fucked.

I'm open to any offers.

One should realize this is not a random, weak portfolio you're buying. It contains work for one of the most internationally well-known interior designers.

Hit me up if you have any questions or if you want to make an offer

Also, you dont even have to use the brand. Even though the brand's solid.

Buying a good portfolio to add to your current one or to start off with is a good investment in this business.
