It's the sole reason I don't support them. It drives me insane. If it stopped on mouse out, I'd be fine with it.

It's also the sole reason I have no sent them sales as well. I've blown 2 sets of high end PC speakers (totaling $1,000) on that banner, while having normal music cranked all the way up. It blew the tweeters, not the bass of course.

Other than that I like their program & their employees quite a bit.

The problem with that banner is that it fucks over other advertisers. More people turn on AdBlock and never have their banner seen.

That's my exact objection to it - sure, banners with sound are annoying, but at least the other advertisers have figured that it's better to turn the sound off on mouseout.
