plea for help

My eldest daughter, Courtney (aged 16), has been planning and working towards a student exchange. She is scheduled to Depart for France in the first week of December for a period of three months.
Unfortunately for most of this year and up until a month ago Courtney suffered from ill health which set her fundraising activities behind. Because she will be in year 12 upon her return, postponement is not an option due to the study loads that the final two years of secondary school impose. To compound her difficulties I myself am of little practical help as I am wheelchair bound due to Muscular Dystrophy. As Courtney also has Muscular Dystrophy I feel it important that she not miss this opportunity before, as an adult, she suffers similar limitations as my own.
As it stands Courtney needs to raise a further 5,000 dollars.
I realize that in these times we encounter on line rip offs almost daily but if any of you can help us then please icq me on 591498300 and all documentation can be provided.

If you want people to be more understanding of your situation, post a photo of you and your daughter, plus details of the trip (brochure/website), the total trip cost, and how much you/she have raised so far.

If she has been so ill up until a month ago, what makes you think she won't have a relapse, or that she is healthy enough to make the trip in a few weeks?

While you're at it, tell us a little about what you do in the adult industry.

Pardon my skepticism, but do exchange programs actually start in December, right before most schools go out of session for winter break? I hosted Japanese exchange students for years, and they mostly stayed a semester when school was in session, or during the summer break, which is several months long.

I genuinely hope your daughter gets to make her trip to France, but not being able to go at this time, is not the end of the world.

I quit high school at 17 and joined the Navy, and was able to visit most of Asia by the time I was 21. Then I spent 6 years in college. I finally made it to France about a decade later on my own dime.

If nothing else, your daughter will learn an important life lesson, and then continue fundraising and saving, so that maybe she can go to France as a graduation present to herself before going to college, or visit after college or when she raises the funds. BTW, most colleges have exchange programs too.

My best suggestion is for you to appeal to whatever communities you are most actively involved with (school, work, church, etc).

Your request for money is for a reason that is important to you, it isn't exactly life threatening or financial crisis type situation. re the comment about some others on this forum, at this point I agree. As to her virginity, LOL, one of the positive aspect of FSH muscular dystrophy is that the teen years are relatively normal, there are many limitations but none as dramatic as many other disabilities, so her social life is relatively normal. There is really no documents you can provide to convince people. I can get you a paper that looks like it is froma teacher or photoshop some medical records. The fact is, unless someone credible here knows you and knows your situation to be fact, you really can't provide any information that someone couldn't make up.
