This guy obviously doesn't realize the size of some of the top SEO affiliates. Dangerous ground, dangerous ground.Comment

Now serch for cum and cum girls or cum fiesta or even amateur girls. You will see the affiliate link right up there thus bringing a lot more traffic to the site than it would for its own name. Now JOJO may be trying to make a quick buck lately, in fact he sounds desparate, but if paysite owners try to stop affiliates from what they do best and that is promote your site then you are going to fuck yourself right up.
In fact you should help the aff by optimising your site for the search engine and not try to redirect their links to you
Exact ;)

chad and a few others said it right too, but I like the way you said it bestOriginally posted by Brujahpaysite owners, go with jojo's plan and get rid of all the affiliates buying typo domain names and working search engines hard to make you money, help brand your site better than you ever could, and send you multiples of traffic that you'd never have received otherwise.
your competitors will love you for it.
some people just don't get it...
think big, let the lil fish have some fun and send you hits, why discourage that?Last edited by TheJimmy; 05-24-2005, 07:24 PM.Investor with 5m - 15m USD to invest. From other thread:
Don't you think your affiliates had a lot to do with branding you ? Everyone that promotes you helps build your brand possibly better than you could have done alone.Really? Would you still disagree if you just spent a million dollars on branding a name, only to watch someone spent $7 and get 60% of your income forever?
This doesn't just apply to a domain name. It's with PPC advertising accounts. Doorways. Galleries, hosted on their sites. SEO utilizing the important keywords ( like 'lightspeed' ) in their URLs. ex. mysite.com/lightspeed-girls/ashley-lightspeed.html, or even ashley-lightspeed.mysite.com- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

anyone who wants to steal my google traffic and promote me, go for it.
I like affiliates who know SEO. You gotta give to get... I also like when my affiliates make sales, it means they will hopefully promote my sites harder. I'm not greedy, plenty of money for everyone to make.

My only real complaint is about first-level domains, not subdomains or using directory keywords. I'm all for affiliates using their search engine SKILLS to get traffic. But registering ashlee-lightspeed.com to snag typeins doesn't take ANY effort or skill.Originally posted by BrujahFrom other thread:

While we're on the subject, do you expect a sponsor to pay you to mark up the price of google and yahoo traffic? Why wouldn't the sponsor just buy that traffic directly? Again, if you are making doorways and blogs and pages that get naturally listed on the engines, great.
My issue is all about the effort and skill involved. No one wants lazy affiliates sucking them dry.Last edited by SteveLightspeed; 09-02-2005, 03:46 PM.Abra-cadabra!Comment

Although I agree on the fact that mispelled(sp?)
domains etc are a bit cheap. But then as someone pointed out, the affiliates brought you all those everyday typeins that we do not get credit for. We hyped your site up and then we get shit for a couple of google hits? Thats just silly.
But targeting keyword paysite A and promoting paysite B is really beyond being stupid.mehComment
