Is XXXJay trying to rip people off?

Don't get me wrong, I give a lot of respect to jay and the way he (used?) to handle his business, but this week some things happened which really made me think. Here is what happened:

- Jay tries to trade links with a FAKE PR 7 site:

Here the domain received a fake pr 7 which can be acheived by redirecting a domain to another high pr domian for a while (till the pr update happens). you can do it yourself by registering a new domain and redirecting to google and place at least one link to this domain (to make sure it gets spidered) then after the pr update you have a fake pr 10. however, it will not be a valid one like in jays case, and google will correct the problem asap (like it happened in jay's case).
I cannot believe that this happened to jay who claims to be a search engine expert (even offers seo) by accident.

- Jay was ripping down a site and used its html (only changed the sponsor links). IMO too much drama for such a case, but jay always claimed to be VERY integer and hated this kind of doing business. That is why he cursed everyone using his style of building galleries and linking the pics on html pages with descriptions (if you don't know what i am talking of then you probably are not a very adult se insider). Maybe by jay's high standards this kind of copyright infringement should not happen.


You can make you own opinion whether jay is a cheater or not. It might be that jay is involved in too many projects and looses control over his empire while his employees or partners keep not up with his high standarts. Who knows.

#1 i dont know how that mistake happened , all i can think of is he got gyped by someone he figured he didnt even have to check the validity of the pr.

#2 he copied a simple frame format ( possibly , i dont even know he did but ) unless he accused others of doing it that shouldnt have been i dont think its fair to call him out on that, he may have "gloated" over his format being copied , but i dont think he would be upset over something so trivial ..

I do remember. Him and another guy contacted someone I know and threatened him because he used similar tactics; promopics on paysitename-pics.html, paysitename-porn.html etc etc html documents.

Nothing was stolen, just similar link tactics. If I'm not mistaken they had him link back to their sites as a "penalty".

Dude, read what I said again. I own a couple 1000 page domain -- all of the pages I wrote from scratch --- most are PHP DB driven anyways -- I've been copied a million times. Instead of raging about it like you wankers are doing -- I just carried on, built out my site, and made a shitload of money -- while Terenzo and these other faggots ate my dust -- now they have turned to haters becasue the can't afford gas money while I fly all over the world -- I've been in the Biz for 8 years -- I've done 1000's of thing I've seen emulated or even blatently copied -- I used to whine about it , but, I'm too big for that now.

On the PR7 -- that was right during the PR update -- it looks like google is giving that domain a normal treatment now:
