    BigHip alternatives

I know BigHip was once the method of choice for opt-in email marketing, but they're really screwed up these days.

I need a system that I can build into a site to do the opt-in and that does timed follow-up letters.

    Anybody have some other choices?

They recently got bought from the previous owners and it doesn't seem like the new guys have a clue. They've randomly shut my account down 4 times in the last three weeks for a payment I made a month ago and they keep saying I didn't, oops, I did...nope you'd didn't...oops, you did.

I just got the follow-up letters finally set up and now they've added this HUGE header and a mandatory tagline to the opt-in email that says

            "**SEXUALLY EXPLICIT EMAIL** Opt-in for..."

Then there's a massive header on top of the email that warns them of nothing short of impending doom before letting them get to the guts of the email. All of it could be below the email and in much more marketing-related terms.

There's nothing in the email that's sexually explicit, it's completely normal and conversational. But the site where they opt-in is, so they require it.
