Feb, 13 2006 I paid $200 for a sticky thread to promote my new CMS for 35 days. Now, my thread has been deleted and my sticky has been changed from a thread to fuckin text link.

He told me I could keep the sticky as this is what I orginally paid the money for:



Now the new text link doesn't even link to my website.

Advertisers beware.

First of all glad this got worked out calmlikeabomb, i hate to see good people get dicked around especially ones I work with.

Second, it's sad that people rip you off in this biz behind closed doors, but the moment you bring it to the boards they start fixing shit. It's like wouldn't it take less time and energy to conduct biz professionally and follow through the first time around?

Okay this is what happened, it's resolved. But let's get this straight, I didn't scam the guy.

Look at the time the time stamps on the posts.

I was doing a database backup, I emailed my webmaster to add a text link, he thought I said remove this guys sticky thread and give him a text link.

The bit about the text link not being linked to his site was because the webmaster hadn't closed the tags on the link when calmlikeabomb checked it.
Look at the time on each post calmlikeabomb made in this thread, this was going on for a few minutes, and when I saw this thread I personally put the sticky back.

Calmlikeabomb was upset, I guess he could have done this in private but wanted half his money back, I agreed, thing is over.

There was no scam here guys, it was a situation of adding links, urls, over a few minutes and a miscommunication between my email and the webmaster doing the changes.

Sorry the thing ended this way but best of luck to you Calmlikeabomb.
