How come after getting his brain in the Wizard of Oz the Scarecrow says "The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side" when the Pythagorean Theorem actually states that "For a right triangle with legs "a" and "b" and hypotenuse "c", A^2+B^2=C^2"?.Comment

The Wizard only provides the Scarecrow with the ILLUSION of intelligence. All these three adventurers needed was the confidence to bring out their respective 'brains', 'heart' and 'courage' that they all had in the first place. The Scarecrow not knowing the Pyth. Theorem sends out a message that even those blessed with a miracle still must work hard to obtain knowledge. How come after getting his brain in the Wizard of Oz the Scarecrow says "The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side" when the Pythagorean Theorem actually states that "For a right triangle with legs "a" and "b" and hypotenuse "c", A^2+B^2=C^2"?
