From next Monday, kindly stop spelling words wrong - humour is not "humor", organise is not "organize" et al.

The Webster dictionary will be pulled off the net and cease publication to stop this idiocy.

Italian, French & Spanish have their origins in Latin whereas English (And German obviously) have their roots in Germanic, although the etymology of many English words come from Latin and Greek.

Whilst its easy for the English to pick holes in the "Americanisation" of the English language, its not right to moan about what side of the road everyone else drives on as the pioneers of the motor industry were German and American.
