    Photoshop question who can help?

I am having an issue with photoshop CS. I am working on some content, and when I open an image that is supposed to be verticle, the program is rotating it to horizontal.

Any ideas on why, and how to fix??

I suspect it's reading the xif data and orienting it appropriately. Rotate the image and save it so it's oriented properly.

Yup, or you can just use the windows image viewer to rotate the images first if that's easier.

the thing is, I rotate them, and save them, and when I oopen them again, they come out the same. it turns them again.

BoyAlley hit it right on. We had this problem to. Go into your Prefrences and set it so that it doesnt open the image using the imbedded info from the camera. Should solve your problem...

i have encountered the same problem.. maybe because the image resolution is too big like 2500x3000.. like that.. its normal.. when you try to reduce its image size/resolution into below 1200px or resolution that fits into your PC monitor.. it will be displayed correctly..
