Guess why Epass blocked my account!!!!!

Epass blocked my account last week,and asked me to send the id and bill to verify my account,so I followed their advice.(I must to,Because I have $1.2k in it)Then I have to waiting and waiting,but today,I cantact Keyser,he tell me that Epass give me this funny and unbelieveable reason:

You account can't be unblocked before the person that gave you your account have paid back a p2p he got from a fraudulent account.

My God,who know where is this fucking guy,I just paid him to open a gift account for me,and never see him/her.Shit!

At last,Epass is more richer with my 1200$ now.Woo......

But IMHO,Keyser help me a lot in these days.Without his help,maybe I need to wait for a month!Many thanks to him.

Sorry to hear about that. I am just having issues with epassporte myself (http://www.gfyboard.com/showthread.php?t=632996), not really sure what the problem is. Never done a chargeback, not gone over the limits, no negative stuff.

thats pretty fucked up that they let users run stolen credit cards through sponsors and when notified they wont shut off the account , but they will take your $1200 because the guy who opened your account got a transfer from a third party.

What stops someone from loading a epass account with their credit card , calling visa say its fraud then send some money to someone you dont like to get their account blocked .

mmm So in essence, what are they saying? I don't see why you're 'gift account' in which you either have loaded with your own money or from your sponsor earnings is being held in 'guarantee/lien' for 'their' debt. Is the card agreement for your card between you and Epassporte or between the guy that gifted you and Epassporte?

Now let's go the other way around and if you would do the same, would that make him responsible for your debts? This is VERY shaky grounds & something we should all be concerned with.

I've given out a few - which has me concerned. But if any debit in my account will prevent someone I've gifted with a card - meaning I've bought and paid for it - after 1 year, I don't expect that person to have problems because, for example, I owe for the card renewal. This is friggen ridiculous!!

I've also gone in to check and there's no contract for the sender of a gift account, nor for the receiver.

I hope someone from Epassporte comes in to clarify what this stuff is all about.

I would guess that they are doing it because a fraudster is likely to have opened multiple gift accounts for themselves.

but if you have proved your ID then they shouldnt hold your money hostage.... That really is bad, its borderline theft.

I don't know how much the person that gave me my account should to pay back to EPASS,if it is less than 1200$,maybe I can paid for this fucking guy.
At least,I can get some MY OWN little money back,and most importantly,make my account unblocked.

Party A (unknown) opens a gift account for party B (bob69). Party B uses the account as normal. At some point, later on, party A has a fraud problem with party C (also unknown).

The complaint is that Bob's account has been blocked for relating to a transaction between two people, neither of which are him.

That might be because of the the anti-gaming bullshit going on right now. They're making it difficult for people to load online-wallets because they automatically assume any money put in an online wallet (other than Paypal) is going to be used for gambling.

I'm up in Canada and I had the problem with my Mastercard. They kept flagging it to deny it for any use with any online purchases and I have NEVER made a deposit at any gaming site.
